Description
The MarkLED is a cable-guided system with current routing via direct connections. This achieves a very high level of efficiency (> 80 %) and the system therefore remains below the limit values for electromagnetic compatibility EMC. With the latest LED technology, the current consumption is so low that the desired string lengths can usually be realized without an intermediate feed. Thanks to the high energy efficiency, power consumption is extremely low. With these technical features, we also meet the regulations and expectations of public institutions and road authorities internationally.
The upper section – the MarkLED lighting module
The new upper part, in a beautiful and elegant shape, with a housing made of crystal-clear special plastic. The outer surface is nano-coated and antistatic for high dirt repellency. The electronics are installed from below and firmly encapsulated with a neutral, white potting compound. The brightness and other functions such as dimming, flashing or blinking of the light modules can be easily controlled via the control units belonging to the system and can also be influenced from the tunnel control center or from an automatic lighting control system.
The lower part – the current collector
The current collector is the actual “heart” of the system. It transfers the electrical energy from the system cable to the luminaire module and provides it with a fixed mounting base. The cable does not have to be cut and therefore remains uninterrupted. As supplied, the luminaire module is already pre-assembled on the current collector (quick and safe installation on site).

A system cable is required for the optical guidance systems as a supply line for the individual modules.
Controls
The new 4-channel controller is used to control the GIFAS control systems. It can be integrated into existing control cabinets or installed “stand alone”.

Thanks to the wide range of accessories, different areas of application and complex customer requirements can be implemented.
Functionality
The control systems have a generous wide voltage range between 16 – 48 VDC. This enables us to realize very long cable distances. In addition, all systems are tested to protection class IP68. Thanks to the modular design, the individual components can be replaced quickly if servicing is required.
